Eversleigh Road: Single storey rear extension

The owners of the period property wished to increase the size of their kitchen and dining room by extending to the side of a pre-existing extension. The ground floor layout is arranged over a split-level plan. The design solution that we decided on pivots around the central kitchen island that appears to float up the steps, embracing the change in level. Full height bi-fold doors offer an uninterrupted view of the garden.
