The family were looking to improve their kitchen and dining area as well as increase the size of their existing utility room. The rear of the property was to remain open planned but extend into the garden with a pitched roof. This created an opportunity to bring more natural light into the kitchen diner as well as offering a feeling of space to the corner of the kitchen with a low floor to ceiling height.
