The clients wished to improve the ground floor arrangement by best utilising the corridors of wasted space, rather than extending further into the garden.  The design offers flexibility where partition walls can slide open when entertaining for large numbers of guests.  The loft space is to be converted to a master bedroom, ensuite bathroom and dressing room.  This will require raising  part of the roof height as well as extending to the side and the rear.
